Kentisbury Grange Policy
~ In consideration to other guests, please keep noise levels reduced between 11pm and 7am.
~ Due to the tranquil atmosphere of Kentisbury Grange, please note that activities such as ball games, cycling,
skateboarding, etc. are not permitted.
~ Due to the vulnerability of our free-roaming ground birds and other animals on and around the property, it is
necessary for dogs to be kept on leads at all times, with no exception. Please remember to clear up after
your dog.
~ Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation or allowed on the beds and furniture.
~ Please note that we have a NO SMOKING policy in our accommodation and every indoor facility available.
~ For the safety of all guests, visitors, ground birds, etc., please observe the speed limits on the property.
~ Please park your vehicle in the car park provided and not on the grass.
~ Please use the refuse and recycling facilities provided.
~ Byelaws prohibit the use of outdoor clothes-lines, so please use the airers or tumble dryers provided.
~ Please do not disturb the bird and animal life, or cause damage to any of the trees at Kentisbury Grange.

Further Information
Reception is manned periodically throughout each day: for open hours, please see the times on the door. When Reception is unattended and you require assistance, the Management can be contacted at any time of the day or at night in an emergency! In the red Telephone Kiosk by Reception, lift the handset on the payphone and press the black button with the sticker labelled WARDEN. This is a free call to the Main House.
The centrally heated Shower Facilities with hairdryers provided are available for your use at no extra charge. A baby changing facility has been included in our Family Shower room.
The Laundry Facility is also available for your convenience. Please note that the washing machines and tumble dryers are operated with £1 coins.
For Local Interests and information on the Events & Activities available in the area, please visit the octagonal Gazebo near the large copper beech tree adjacent to the car park. This facility is left unlocked at all times for you to help yourself to the many leaflets, brochures and details available.
A Dog Toileting Area has been provided. Please note that this is not an exercise area and due to the vulnerability of our free-roaming ground birds and other animals on and around the property, it is necessary for dogs to be kept on leads at all times. Please remember to clear up after your dog. Details of nearby walks that are suitable for dogs are available from Reception.
The grounds of Kentisbury Grange are home to many wildlife species as well as our beautiful free-roaming Ground Birds, most of which are likely to visit you, especially when encouraged with a spot of breakfast! Please be warned that the peacocks in particular are early risers and do not forget where fine cuisine can be found! Poultry seed is also available from Reception.
Note: The peacocks and other birds that live here do so of their own free will – we are not responsible for their actions.
Sandpark Service Station is Kentisbury’s local post office, general store and service station.
Turn right at our gate, travel 1 mile, take the first right at Kentisbury Ford and Sandpark Service Station is 500 yards on the left. Opening Hours: 8am – 6pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
8am – 1pm Tuesday 9am – 1pm Sunday
9am – 1pm Bank Holidays
The Old Station Inn is a popular pub, restaurant and takeaway with a children’s play area and is just 1 mile away from Kentisbury Grange when you turn left at our gate.
